About
My research focuses on the modeling of social and emotional behaviors applying multidisciplinary approaches, and their expression through intelligent virtual agents. Using these characters as affective interfaces in interactive 3D worlds for education, training and entertainment. Specifically, I’m interested in the simulation of the emotional and social dimensions of the human interaction (verbal and nonverbal expression) with the aim to produce an immersion feeling and thus improve the human-computer interaction.
